Last weekend watched the movie “Chak de India”. Great movie. Fantastic sensational work done by Shahrukh after so many years. Ofcourse story and direction as well are also great. I am gonna watch it ATLEAST 2 times more. Earlier I watched RDB 3 times in theatre in 3 consecutive weeks.
The entire movie is very inspirational. It teaches you no matter whatever will be the circumstances if you stick to your goal…work with full commitment to achieve it…you will definitely reach that pinnacle…no matter what span of time it takes to realise those dreams…
Hats off to Shahrukh for his fantastic role….hope he will continue to provide such inspirational entertainment in future as well.
This is new entrant now to my favorites list of Jo Jita wahi Sikandar, RDB, Sarfarosh…Chak De India.

Dreams come true...
During JBIMS days…my stay in hostel..again I came across few of the finest brains in the class…had a great time with them particularly in hostel…and still in touch and develop a good bonding with some of them like Samir, Anirudha…all 3 of us joined same company from the campus..and perhaps that could be the reason we are now very close friends of each other….Samir is in canada now and ani is in hyderabad…he keeps on taking small tours to Berlin these days…I was posted for almost a year in manglore…the city I HATE most and the time I spent there even today…finally managed to come to Pune (in the same org.)…Pune my dream city…city wherein I was always dreamed off having good job…well settled…it took almost 4 years after my engg. to realize my dream of engg. days. now I can say I am well settled here in Pune….in my own house…
My parents and some closed relatives adored me too much when I booked this flat and got the possession and did the house warming party…there point was no one till now from the family tree ever dared of closing in on such a big deal…but I tried my level best to explain them…its nothing like that…and I haven’t invented any rocket science…there is still a long way to go…although I seemed to be financially solid if you look from my hometown’s perspective…I am just an average middle class if you look from city like Pune’s perspective.

turnaround time...
Post engg. I was in dilemma..what to do..because job scene was not so good at that time..year 2002…my parents wanted me to go for preparation of UPSC to New Delhi…but I didn’t…so finally I turned out to be the winner and went to Mumbai in search of job and in parallel to start preparing for MBA entrance…those days…I must say..were very horrifying…
I was working in domestic gas supplier company in Mumbai…and the job profile required me to travel to different places and spend the whole day anywhere on busy traffic road…I remember the days when I was standing for the day in scorching & humid heat of Mumbai…on the roadside..full with traffic and pollution level very high…traveling to remote places in thane..such remote that if osama decides to hide in such places Bush will never ever think of following him in those remote areas…these were the days when I learnt how much difficult it is to EARN each and every small penny…perhaps this is the reason I always give so much importance to money…don’t like to keep someone else’s money with me…neither like anyone else playing around with my money…I confessed I have been targeted and criticized lot of time in my friend circle on this particular aspect…but that’s how I AM….it was getting too much tougher for me to hold on that kind of job…so finally I decided to give my best shot at CET…and left the job…packed by bags..and left Mumbai…deciding I will not ever return to Mumbai now…if I don’t succeed in CET…will stay at hometown only and will start preparing for other exams..like banking..etc. it was tough decision to make as CET date was just 2 weeks later. finally I scored good enough…initially got into sydenham…as JBIMS’s next round was not yet declared…along with me my buddy toshant also joined…this is where once I came across a memorable moment…the day when we (me and tosh) got into JBIMS and the moment when I told him about this..the way he enjoyed that moment…the way he jumped up with joy at churchgate…is the one which I will hardly forget.
From here started the journey for both of us…a great professional journey I must say…learning management skills from some of the finest brains in the country…he in marketing and me in finance. these 2 years has changed a lot…the time we spent with all hostilities while preparing for exams…preparing for placements…both summer as well as executive…and ofcourse how can I forget the time spent at Marine Drive…Nariman point…Marine drive was just a stone’s throw distance from our hostel…now after 2 years leaving this site all those days seemed to be the best dream I have ever seen…with my eyes wide open.

Lets start from the past in brief...
Let me start my self with intro in brief. Basically I am born and brought up in Akola. Did schooling till HSSC in Akola itself. Till SSC in Jalaram English high school and 11th, 12th in RLT science college. About family background both Mom and Dad are teacher by profession. Infact my dad is English teacher and I had been very weak in English (grammar infact!..which my dad is very good at…perfect eg. of “DIYA TALEE ANDHERAAA”…J)
During my school days I had lot of beating from Dad for not studying properly. Infact I was little bit diverted from studies in the period from 5th to 8th..had started focusing too much on cricket with friends. So in between to bring me back to track these kind of periodic doses were in place.
But later on from 9th there happened a drastic change in my approach…and I suddenly started concentrating too much on studies…
Oh…one most imp thing when I was in 4th standard there she came..my cute little sister (10 years younger to me). teelaa ganii aakaawunn palnyaat jhopwaynaat weglaa ch maja yaaychee…kadee waar ghetlaa kii taar makdachyaa pilloo sarkhee chipkuun rahaychiii…once during my last visit to home I just mentioned this and she immediately countered and said told mom…baghh haa tulaa makad manhtooo…ha…ha…ha…too sharp girl…anyway jokes apart now she is in 12th in akola itself…in 10th she stood 20th merit rank holder from Amravati divisional board securing some 91 % in aggregate…and we are hoping the same in HSSC now…
After HSSC did my Engg. from Govt. college of engg.; Amravati in mechanical. those days people used to ask why Mechnical..and so on…Even I didn’t knew why I took mech. its just somebody told me that mech. stream is good one in this institute and hence I went for it…
by the way one more imp…thing I must mention here..abt some good part of my HSSC friend club….I really came across some fantastic friends in HSSC and it helped me a lot in improving myself as far as study is concerned..ofcourse I got parted with all of them as they successfully managed to get into Pune univ. and I couldn’t but still I am in touch with some of them…like himanshu (spent lot of time on his terrace during HSSC..listening to his crap plans about various females in his colony..salaa yee too aunty logo koo bhii nahi chodhh tha thaaa…hi hi hi..a great friend…now settled in USA..i must say SETTLED because I really don’t think he will ever come back now to settle here in India after staying there for so many years)……ujjwal (whenever I will ask my kids in future to study…I will give them this guy’s reference…oh god…study karnaa haii to ujjwal kii tarah…otherwise don’t study at all…recently he got married in mumbai)…and of course how can I forget Lalit, Amol, Jamndas Kataria….Ketan bavishi…(all my school days friends)..Lalit…Boss nobody can beat this guy in convincing prowess..man oo man!!!!...the day when he will get his going it will be really difficult to stop him in Business….Lalit recently got selected in one of the top 5 consulting org.…after doing his PG from NMIMS, Mumbai…Amol the oldest frind anybody can have…I think I know him right from the time I know myself….perhaps both of us learned to WALK by holding each other’s hands only…we parted after hssc…but then again after couple of years..after doing my mba I landed up in the same company in which he is working…since his engg…and now we are in the same building here in office..and ofcourse bought our respective flats in the same society in Pune…his c1 – 701…mine is d1-701…its again destiny I must say….
then during engg, also I came across some of fantastic everlasting friends and some seniors…later on these also turned out to be gr8 friends…learned a lot from all of them and really thankful to them for sharing there knowledge..thinking ability….logical reasoning…fighting spirit..and so on…I always infact try to learn something different something new from each and every person I come across…and this is ofcourse endless process. My engg. days really helped me a lot in improving and grooming myself. to name some of the close pals from engg….best one is my Golii (Yogesh kulkarni….i have given him so many names…golii…goluu…goldiee…golden boot…golden jubilee…J..he was my roomie for 3 amazing years during engg….very chill man..always want to do something different from rest of the world…ONLY I witnessed silently lots of his plans to pursue girls from “Jijauu”…our engg…girls hostel..but never succeeded at all…no offences meant…goliii..atleast you planned..no matter you executed it or not….Golu is also working in the same org as mine….currently in USA)…then Shriyut Shrirang Koranne saheb…very honest person..very straight forward…I think if this guy get into some entrepreneurship..then it will take him almost 150 years like TATAs to build his empire…and he will do it..definitely…but still I don’t know why he always choose to sit with me and golii during our all class tests in engg. because me and golii were..what say…totally dependent upon the chits under our desk and sometimes entire book also…and this guy was like he will accept to fail in any test but will not copy..at all…
next one is Nachiket…nick named again by me only…as bitwa…bituuu pahelwaannn …bitti…bibtya wagh and so on…very sharp person…one must really respect his sharpness…hs ability to construct instant lines on anyone…(kavita)..anywhere…anytime…never seen him tense..always laughing and happy…I hardly ever remember any moment wherein we were seriously talking something with each other…I don’t know how but whenever I talk with this guy a completely different personality of mine pops out…
This is all about some of my friends and little bit about my past…
